Forgive us Dear Mother, Dear Father...

Dear mother (Pachamama, our earth), forgive our neglect of you and of your creatures for profit blinds many humans. dear mother, please forgive the suffering that humans inflict on each other and to the creatures that do not look like them for they know no better. forgive our neglect of your life giving soils , the earth and dirt that birth the plants that all of gods creatures need to live, flourish and thrive. dear mama, forgive us for poisoning all life affirming rivers and seas and lakes and streams and forests and jungles and rain forests, farms, mountains, deserts and all the beauty and life that you created for all of us. dear mama, please forgive that we have strayed so far from the Eden of love and truth. Dear mama, please forgive us for not being blindsided by your breathtaking beauty everyday and for the blatant disrespect and abuse of your astounding resources. Dear mama, please forgive that we do not cherish every wonder around us. That we take for granted this gift of life, please forgive us all.

Dear Father Sky (Creator, The Great Spirit), forgive the societies of enslavement that humans have created all around the world. Forgive us that we have created systems of unfairness so that the humans that you created aren't thriving in the way that you had hoped for us. Forgive us that WE don't see YOU when we look at one another. Dear father, forgive the corrupted minds that make the laws and rules of injustices. Dear father, forgive our carnage of one another and the violence and destruction that heartbreakingly persists. Forgive us for not always putting love first. Forgive us for placing greed before fairness and truth. Dear papa, forgive us for not cherishing the life that you gave us. Forgive us for not honoring and loving each other as you love us. Forgive us for feeling separate. Forgive us for not fully shining the light that you bestowed within each and every one of us. Dear father, forgive us for all of times that we have withheld love and compassion to all that IS within and around us.

Dear father, forgive us for not knowing how to love as you love. May all of us one day live life as the miracle that it is…
